Requirements
Applicants must be Hispanic/Latino or of Hispanic/Latino descent.
International students do not qualify for the FUNDET Scholarship Program.
It does not matter your legal status.
Applicants must have an intermediate level of English proficiency.
You can complete the College Application Form if:
You have your college student ID.
You have registered into your Technical Training Program.
You have paid 25% of the semester's program tuition and fees.
You have meet with your FUNDET Program Mentor.
If you have not met these requirements, YOU CAN'T complete the College Application Form!
1. College Application Process
Application
In-Person application assistance is available in most campuses.
Social Security Number is not required to register.
International students with F-1 visa do not qualify for the FUNDET Scholarship Program.
Students will meet with FUNDET Mentor to complete the enrollment process.

FUNDET will cover between 50% to 75% of the college tuition and fees (with the exception of MTEC).
A FUNDET mentor will be assigned to help you with the program enrollment and FUNDET application process
Upon completion of the FUNDET Application, you need to make an appointment with the FUNDET Scholarship Determination Committee.
If you meet the FUNDET criteria, you will be awarded the scholarship.
2. FUNDET Scholarship Application Process
Students will contact their FUNDET Mentor to give an update on their enrollment process.
The FUNDET Scholarship Determination Committee will meet with the students to review the application, explain scholarship criteria, answer questions, and determine the award.
Students will meet with FUNDET mentor for the Monthly Progress Interview.
To be eligible for funding, students must meet the scholarship criteria of progress, values, and community hours.
Students who do not meet with FUNDET Mentor or scholartship criteria, run the risk loosing the scholarship.
Students will practice the monthly value at home, school, and at work and write an essay of they experience.
Students will comment about what they like about the program and make recommendations.
Students who drop out of their program, will reimburse financial assistance in full to FUNDET.
Important Items to Remember
Some health care programs require immunizations, criminal back ground check, and drug test; these services are paid by the student.
Immunizations are offered in the Center for Health and Counseling at a lower cost.
FUNDET will sponsor SLTEC English as Second Language stundents on level 3 and 4.
